Antje grew up in east Germany. Since she gave up her regular work in 2003 she has been traveling all over Asia and developed an interest for Buddhism as well as Tibetan culture.

She spent a long time studying Tibetan language and Buddhism in North India. Since 2008 she is practicing  sound healing, which she has been studying at well known institutes in India and Germany.
