Gonpo, our resident Tibetan masseur |
History |
|
Massage is more than a physical experience. The body and mind undergo a significant connection during the massage session. Tibetan massage was developed around 1,500 years ago first among the nomadic people and later by medical practitioners. The Tsampa technique is a unique method of the Tibetan nomads in which Gonpo, our resident masseur, is an expert. The massage technique is especially good for relieving fatigue, insomnia, heart and lung trouble, respiratory problems and stiff joints (after a long meditation?). It also leaves the skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated. |

· Gonpo is a well qualified professional masseur who is skilled in the art of traditional Tibetan massage. We are very fortunate that he could share the power of his healing through touch for the last four years. · He provides the best massage service at a very good rate in a clean environment. · We create a personal massage experience with your choice of massage oils. Each oil has a specific scent and medicinal quality. · Our staff recommend an oil based on your personal needs: · Tibetan oil: this energizing oil brightens and tones the skin. Also it encourages blood circulation which helps in turn the whole body rest by balancing and energizing naturally. · Australian oil: these essential oils use aromatherapy to strengthen your body when it is weakened from cold or fever by opening your respiratory system. |
